Claire looks after a wealth of costumes including some truly beautiful museum pieces, original Victorian silk wedding dresses, sewn by hand, beaded and pleated, some fantastic silk and satin one hundred and fifty year old dresses, so delicate they are almost falling apart, and original Music hall pantomime costumes made of incredibly heavy but beautifully coloured felt (The Snow White Dress is one of these). There are floor to ceiling boxes labelled Spaceman, Poor Skirts, Wigs/Beards, Rasta, Pirates and many more. I do love my job!
